展覽名稱：一個人―日本當代藝術聯展
內容介紹：
眾所矚目的「東京藝術博覽會Art Fair Tokyo」已於今年邁入第四屆，無疑成為日本當代藝術走上國際舞台的重要推手。無畏景氣低迷危機，日本當代藝術市場每每呈現倍數成長，來自世界各地的收藏開始（尤其台灣）仍熱切尋求日本新興的年輕藝術家。這個不同以往的情勢改變，證明新世代的年輕藝術家市場儼然到來，由台灣藝廊近年接連推出的展覽內容，便可明顯感受這股強流。MOT/ARTS特於4/17與日本TARO NASU GALLERY跨國合作，邀請旅日顧問龍國英先生共同策劃為期一個月的日本新興藝術家聯展。邀請五位新勢力崛起的年輕藝術家作品，除了台灣熟知的「動漫」與「暴力美學」，意欲探討代表日本當代藝術面貌中的「無序的變動文化」；一種沒有秩序的創作邏輯，一種變動中的文化現象，一股無法忽視的當代勢力；不追求第一，而追求不歸屬任何人的OnlyOne。
大竹竜太 作品
近來以其虛擬科技風景系列頗受日本媒體注意的【大竹竜太】將其眼中電玩畫面重新解構後呈現在作品裡，探尋這種慢性滲浸的虚擬世界與現實的文化界線。對峙的電玩遊戲隱喻為社會，被規範、思想、結構、選擇所控制著。現實社會與虛擬世界同樣在個人與群體間抗爭著，不同的是，虛擬社會以任意殺戮來解決這樣的衝突，而現實生活則是由恐懼和懷疑的情緒來取代。許多人因在虛擬世界中獲得更多認同和更多的「真實感」，進而著迷其中。
薄久保香 作品
作品總是一畫難求的【薄久保香】，原本從事著鎂光燈前矚目焦點的模特兒工作，卻常常在工作中感受到強烈的孤獨和寂寞。像是一個被掏空的軀殼，僅是這些時尚服飾的美麗衣架，無意識走在伸展台上，而真實的自己卻飄浮空中尋無歸屬。薄久保香的作品總以一個不露正臉的小孩背影為主角，雖然看不到男孩的臉，卻能感受一股濃濃的孤獨寂寞和熱切渴望。
佐佐木憲介 作品
【佐々木憲介】的人物油畫讓人無法相信他年僅25歲。從小個性靦腆安靜，除了母親，顯少與外人交談。無意間看見時尚雜誌上的外國模特兒，開始他人物肖像的油畫創作。不擅與外界溝通的他，女性（尤其外國女性）是離他最遠的世界，這樣的距離與想像開啟他源源不絕的創作動力，常常一拿起畫筆，便可不休息不間斷直到完成作品。在創作中他找到最快樂的自己，也找到與外界溝通最舒服的方式，近期更開始學習刺繡，希望為他的創作發現更多靈感。
擅長巨大風景創作的【厚地朋子】，以獨特的2D構圖和故事陳述方式建立個人創作風格。由八個方塊組成的「HOTEL」是由透過鑰匙孔中窺視到的一位擁有精品旅店英國紳士和代表旅店不同角落的七個方塊，在獨立與串連方塊間，敍說一個充滿故事性的異想世界。最新作品是在不規則的木片畫上散落的衣物，然後以隨意放置地上的方式呈現。
多和田有希 作品
【多和田有希】是此次唯一的攝影作品，探討一種歇斯底里的概念，將能量的流動具象化。她運用各種橡皮擦和沙紙在噴墨印刷品上的表面徒手創作，在攝影、繪畫和雕塑的固有創作方式外，建立一種手工熔接的技術。
事實上，這種在「有序」與「無序」中遊走的藝術文化呈現對於日本來說並不意外。即便深受民族性的影響，日本當代藝術家的創作在大多十分精細、具有美感，也常與時尚結合，但其向來在料理、美術、建築、文學和美學觀等，在有意無意之間都深受這種無序方式的影響，而成為獨樹一幟的日本當代文化。
